Habitat: The pygmy marmoset can be found in the western Amazon Basin, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia.
Basic Anatomy: The Pygmy Marmoset is of the smallest South American primates. Even though the Pygmy Marmoset is very small its body appears to be "fluffed up". Their bodies are round and appear to be kind of fat even though they aren’t, instead they use their fur to look larger. They have sharp claws to cling to trees.
